There are 10 important details that should be considered
before selecting a contractor to install your new vinyl siding and/or soffits.

• Correct any architectural design flaws
• Replace all rotten wood.
• Install new flashing to prevent water intrusion.  This reduces mold and insect damage.
• Install a rigid moisture barrier that has all joints ans seams properly sealed.
• Use the right materials with the right installation rechniques to prevent blow-off from windsotrms.
• Siding shoudl be hand nailed to Southern Bldg. Code standards, reinforced with washers if necessary, and the type of nail should be matched to applicaiton (stainless steel ring shank, for coastal areas).
• Change or modernize the look of your home.  Or, protect architectural accents, if historical or pleaseing.
• Use ALL f the manufacturers required accessories, no common short cuts.
• Select materials that fit you budget, meet you design requirements (windload, weathering, appeal). backed by the best warranties in the industry.
• Hire a contractor who presents the above writing as their minimum standard, not on request or as an extra.  A contractor who has an office and has been in that office for more thena 10 years.  A contractor who backs their work up with a writeen installation warranty for at least 5 years.
